Beef stew

  • Post category:Recipes

The fall season wouldn’t be the same without a warm bowl of beef stew. Stew is easy to make, tasty (fall vegetables are the best!!) and cheap.

What you need to know about this recipe :

  • Fall vegetables are the best! Yes, you can make this in any season, but the vegetables won’t be as tasty.
  • The beef broth you use makes a huge difference. Use a good quality broth, one with a darker colour usually has more flavour.
  • Big chunks or small bites doesn’t really matter, you cut your meat and vegetables the size you like.
  • If you like a thicker sauce with your stew just add a table soup of arrowroot or tapioca starch in some cold water and add to the stew 30 minutes before serving. You’ll also want to add a little more broth.
